Job Title: Senior Procurement Strategist

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled procurement leader to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic procurement plans that align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement strategy that ensures timely delivery of high-quality materials and services.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders to ensure optimal contract terms and cost savings.
  • Manage the procurement process from RFP to contract award, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.

Contract Management:

  • Draft, review, and finalize contracts with vendors and suppliers, ensuring legal and commercial safeguards.
  • Monitor contract execution, variations, claims, and dispute resolution in collaboration with the legal team.

Cost Control & Value Engineering:

  • Lead value engineering exercises to identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality or design aesthetics.
  • Monitor market trends, price fluctuations, and alternative sourcing options to ensure cost competitiveness.

Team Leadership & Collaboration:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing procurement team.
  • Work closely with project management, design, and construction teams to ensure seamless coordination and alignment.

Qualification, Experience & Skills:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field; MBA preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in procurement and contract management, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing strategic procurement plans.
  • Strong negotiation, vendor relationship, and stakeholder management skills.

Core Competencies:

  • Strategic procurement leadership with cost consciousness and quality assurance.
  • Strong proficiency in contract negotiation, drafting, and administration.
  • Capability to manage complex vendor dynamics with emphasis on luxury standards.
  • Analytical mindset, proficient in budgeting, forecasting, and spend tracking.

Education and Certifications:

Preferred:

  • Professional certifications such as CSCP, APICS, or ISM.
  • Master's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field.
