Leading Manufacturing Operations

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced manufacturing leader to drive end-to-end operations across production, assembly, fabrication, paint shop, and machine shop. This individual will lead strategic planning, ensure timely execution of manufacturing plans, and establish robust sourcing strategies.

  • Drive efficiency in shop floor operations and supply chain coordination.
  • Ensure safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are met.
  • Develop and enforce manufacturing SOPs, process sheets, routings, and control plans.
  • Lead procurement and vendor management for raw materials, consumables, and bought-outs.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams for material availability and production readiness.
  • Monitor production progress and drive actions to resolve bottlenecks.
  • Oversee quality assurance processes, audits, and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Implement lean manufacturing initiatives to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Lead operations planning and implementation in alignment with company goals.
  • Implement performance KPIs across all functions and conduct regular operational reviews.
  • Develop and mentor department managers and team leaders.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous learning.
  • Ensure utilization of ERP systems across departments.
  • Implement data-driven decision making and digital tools to improve operational visibility.
  • Maintain strict adherence to factory safety norms and EHS compliance.
  • Promote a culture of safety awareness and preventive practices.
Candidate Profile
  • 20–25 years of relevant manufacturing experience in capital equipment, machinery, or engineering industries.
  • Hands-on exposure to fabrication, machining, and machine assembly shop floors.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiar with labor laws, vendor ecosystems, and manufacturing best practices.
  • Preferably from Gujarat or neighboring states for ease of relocation and language familiarity.
