Job Title: CNC Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking an experienced CNC Manufacturing Specialist to join our precision engineering team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving innovation in manufacturing processes through the development and implementation of efficient and effective CAM programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement CAM programs using NX software to define cutting tools and strategies for 3D models (50% of time).
  • Validate output by running tool path simulations, generating NC code, and performing virtual simulations (15%).
  • Process input data by validating 3D models against 2D drawings and assembling part geometry in fixtures (10%).
  • Collaborate with process engineers to implement CAM programs on CNC machines (10%).
  • Ensure quality control by analyzing QC reports, implementing corrective actions, and iterating as needed (10%).
  • Document setup sheets and work instructions for CNC operators (5%).

Qualifications:

  • Education: A diploma or B.E. in Mechanical, Production, Mechatronics, or Automobile Engineering is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in NX CAM programming or 8 years of experience in Diploma equivalent is necessary.
  • Skills: Proficiency in GD&T, CNC machines, NX CAD, cutting tools, and FANUC Controller is mandatory.

  • Internal: Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to ensure seamless process execution.
  • External: Engage with clients for discussions and suppliers for specifications.
