Strategic Intellectual Property Leader

We are seeking a Senior Manager IP to lead our Intellectual Property Department and work closely with our Portfolio, R&D scientists, and Regulatory Affairs teams.
The successful candidate will have a PhD or post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences, and at least 13+ years of experience in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company.
They will be responsible for developing and managing the growing IP portfolio, enforcing IP processes, and working closely with cross-functional teams to identify products, devise product development strategies, and draft patents.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and managing the IP portfolio
- Enforcing IP processes and protecting third-party partner interests
- Working closely with cross-functional teams to identify products and devise product development strategies
- Drafting patents and freedom-to-operate reports
The ideal candidate will possess:
- PhD or post-graduate degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, Sciences, or Pharmaceutical Sciences
- At least 13+ years of experience in a reputable Global Pharmaceutical company
- Strong team handling skills and ability to work in a deadline-dictated environment
