Job Description

We are seeking an experienced 2G Protocol Development Engineer to join our team in Bengaluru. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing 2G protocol features on Base Station Controller (BSC), resolving issues, and ensuring smooth integration with cross-functional teams.

  • Design, develop, and implement 2G protocol features on BSC.
  • Debug, analyze, and resolve internal and external defects/bugs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for integration, testing, and deployment.
  • Ensure compliance with 2G protocol standards and specifications.
  • Conduct unit testing, system validation, and troubleshooting during development and field deployment.
  • Provide support for live issue handling and customer escalations.
Required Skills
  • Strong proficiency in C/C++ programming.
  • Solid understanding of 2G protocols or experience in RAN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience in protocol development, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix environments.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
