The Role of a Senior AWS Redshift Database Administrator is to ensure the performance and security of our databases.

As a highly skilled professional in this field, you will be responsible for administering and maintaining scalable cloud environments and applications for data organization. You will also be responsible for installing and maintaining software, services, and applications by identifying system requirements. Additionally, you will be working extensively with database platforms such as AWS Redshift, Amazon RDS, and MySQL.

This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality data solutions, optimize system architecture, and improve overall performance. Key Responsibilities include:

  • Database administration and maintenance for scalable AWS cloud environments and applications
  • Software installation and maintenance by identifying system requirements
  • Database experience with AWS Redshift, Amazon RDS, and MySQL

To be successful in this role, you should possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of best practices for usability and performance, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have 6 years of experience in System, Platform, and AWS Cloud Administration and 4 years of Database Administration using latest AWS Technologies.

Additional Requirements include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
  • AWS Solution Architect Certifications Preferred
  • Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
