Chemical Project Leadership Role Overview

Job Description

This position is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled professional to lead projects within the Chemicals Practice. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for guiding research processes and delivering high-quality results.

Key responsibilities include overseeing project efforts, developing and refining study scope, scheduling, budget, and client deliverables. Additionally, you will drive staff performance to ensure successful project completion, assure content and quality of studies, and prepare presentations and supporting documentation.

You will also present project findings to clients, conduct primary interviews to obtain critical insights, and assist with practice growth and development. Furthermore, you will work closely with senior management to develop proposals in response to client requests.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in consulting within the chemical industry, with expertise in developing, managing, and presenting project results to senior management. Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are essential. The ability to manage, mentor, and motivate a team to achieve results that meet or exceed client expectations is also crucial.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To excel in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Engineering (preferably Chemical), or a related field; an MBA is a plus.
  • Excellent organization skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Foreign language skills are a plus.
  • Good oral and written English language skills are required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
