As a seasoned Process Director, we seek an exceptional professional with extensive experience in the Chemical Engineering Discipline to lead our process department.

We require an individual with a minimum of 18 to 20 years of experience in a consultancy organization or technical services department of a Pharmaceutical/Biotech/Lifesciences company.

  • This is a high-level engineering position involving process calculations like heat & mass balance, Utility sizing for API, OSD and Biotech Projects. Key responsibilities include performing process calculations, preparing process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrument diagrams (P&IDs), reviewing design and construction for consistency and safety, and leading Hazop and PHA Reviews.

The successful candidate will have exposure to simulation software's such as HYSYS, ASPEN, and will be well aware of regulatory requirements of USFDA, MHRA, and WHO etc.

  1. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge on layout designing of API, OSD, Sterile and Biotech projects.
  2. Should demonstrate sound knowledge on Area classification and man material flow concepts.
  3. Should have knowledge on latest ISPE Guidelines.

This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to maintain contact with other disciplines/groups to ensure proper interchange of information, documents, and correct interface definition.

A key responsibility is to monitor that work and progress are in compliance with the project requirements and schedule.
