Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Experiential Travel Planner to join our team at Offbeat Tracks. As a key member of our travel design team, you will be responsible for crafting personalized travel experiences that exceed the expectations of our discerning clients.

About the Role:

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated and experienced travel professional to take their career to the next level. You will work closely with clients to understand their unique preferences and interests, designing bespoke itineraries that showcase the beauty and diversity of destinations around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Consultation: Conduct in-depth consultations with clients to ascertain their travel preferences, interests, budget, and any special requirements.
  • Itinerary Design: Design bespoke travel itineraries that reflect clients' preferences, incorporating unique destinations, activities, accommodations, and dining experiences.
  • Destination Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of various travel destinations, including emerging trends, attractions, accommodations, and local customs.
  • Supplier Management: Liaise with travel suppliers, including hotels, airlines, tour operators, and local guides, to secure the best rates and ensure seamless execution of travel arrangements.
  • Budget Management: Develop cost-effective travel solutions while adhering to clients' budgetary constraints, negotiating rates and optimizing resources to deliver exceptional value.
  • Personalization: Infuse each itinerary with personalized touches and exclusive experiences tailored to clients' interests and preferences, ensuring a truly bespoke travel experience.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate all aspects of travel logistics, including transportation, accommodations, activities, and reservations, to ensure a smooth and hassle-free travel experience for clients.
  • Client Communication: Provide timely and attentive communication to clients throughout the planning process, addressing inquiries, offering recommendations, and managing expectations.
  • Travel Documentation: Prepare comprehensive travel documents, including itineraries, confirmations, visas, and other necessary paperwork, to facilitate a seamless travel experience.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging destinations, and innovative travel experiences, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance service offerings and exceed client expectations.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, tourism, business administration, or related field (preferred).
  • Experience: Proven experience in luxury and experiential travel planning, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a similar role.
  • Skills: Exceptional destination knowledge, strong communication and interpersonal skills, excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in travel planning software and tools.
  • Certification: Certification from relevant industry associations (e.g., Certified Travel Associate, Destination Specialist) is a plus.

Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
