Electrical System Design Lead

We are seeking an experienced Electrical System Design Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing and planning the electrical architectures of our systems, ensuring they meet customer standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical design, with experience in preparing electrical drawings, system hardware design, and control panel design. They will also be skilled in component selection, including PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, switchgears, and relays.

Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for calculating electrical systems, preparing bills of material (BOM), and creating high-level flow charts and sequence of operation documents.

The role requires excellent communication skills, with the ability to work closely with customers, project teams, and controls teams to understand technical requirements and customer standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conceptualize and plan electrical architectures
  • Prepare electrical drawings and system hardware designs
  • Select components, including PLCs, VFDs, servo drives, sensors, switchgears, and relays
  • Calculate electrical systems
  • Prepare BOM and create high-level flow charts and sequence of operation documents
  • Work closely with customers, project teams, and controls teams

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
  • Knowledge of fieldbus protocols, such as Ethernet TCP/IP, Profibus, and Profinet
  • Experience with traceability devices, like RFID and hand scanners
