We are seeking a skilled and experienced API Automation Tester to join our team in Bangalore. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality automated tests for APIs, with a strong understanding of software development life cycles and agile methodologies.

This is a full-time role that requires immediate notice period and offers a hybrid work arrangement. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites for APIs using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber framework.

The job involves working on a variety of projects, including API testing, integration testing, and continuous delivery pipelines. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test scripts for APIs using Java, Selenium, and Cucumber framework.
  • Maintain and enhance existing automated test suites to ensure they meet evolving business needs.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Work closely with QA engineers to resolve defects and improve test efficiency.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 6+ years of experience in Test Automation, preferably with Java, WEB & API, Selenium, Cucumber (BDD) framework.
  • Good hands-on experience on API testing using Rest Assured is mandatory.
  • Experience on working in Agile model.
  • Excellent communication skills.
