Job Details

Our marketplace operations manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our ecommerce business. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing marketplaces, developing strategies, and forecasting results. Key responsibilities include:

1) Developing and implementing short and long term objectives, customer metrics, and overall performance.

2) Creating reports and reporting formats to track progress and identify areas for improvement.

3) Overseeing customer service, updates, post listings, promotions, merchandising, maintenance, and performance.

Merchandising
Our marketplace operations manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a merchandising strategy that ensures our site is well merchandised according to company directives and standards. This includes:

1) Developing a merchandising deck to showcase our products and services.

2) Planning and executing marketplace promotions to maximize growth.

3) Collaborating with internal partners and outside agencies to develop and execute digital merchandising, design, and marketing strategies.

Buying
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing an assortment and inventory plan to match our sales plan. This includes:

1) Working with other divisions to maximize inventory and reduce waste.

2) Providing strategic insights and recommendations on new marketplaces channels with growth plans.

3) Replenishing and reordering stock as needed.

4) Reporting daily sales and weekly sales reports to management.

Customer Service
As a marketplace operations manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the development of customer relationships through our marketplace. This includes:

1) Reviewing monthly customer service reports and putting into place action items to ensure efficiency of the process.
