Job Overview

Portfolio Manager, Private Markets role is designed to support the delivery of innovative multi-asset investment solutions.

This position focuses on co-managing private markets end-to-end in partnership with internal teams and external managers. Key responsibilities include portfolio construction and asset allocation across strategies, partnering with internal and external investment teams to select and monitor investments, overseeing the investment lifecycle for various investment types, managing liquidity, capital deployment, and risk for private market solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Co-manage private markets solutions end-to-end in partnership with internal teams and external managers
  • Support portfolio construction and asset allocation across strategies
  • Partner with internal and external investment teams to select and monitor investments
  • Oversee the investment lifecycle for various investment types
  • Manage liquidity, capital deployment, and risk for private market solutions
  • Monitor and report on portfolio holdings, including manager oversight
  • Represent the team in client meetings and stakeholder discussions

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of relevant private markets investing experience
  • Experience managing or supporting multi-manager portfolios in private asset classes
  • Proven record in institutional investment management and multi-asset team collaboration
  • Experience with evergreen or semi-liquid fund structures and liquidity management
  • CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) or equivalent preferred; advanced degrees are a plus
