Android Security Expert

We are looking for a skilled Android Security Expert to join our team. As an Android Security Expert, you will play a key role in the analysis and reversal of malicious APKs and SDKs.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have experience in static and dynamic analysis of Android malware, identifying spyware, trojans, rootkits, and other threats. You will also be responsible for analyzing network traffic and backend systems for vulnerabilities and data leakage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform thorough static and dynamic analysis of Android malware
  • Reverse-engineer malicious APKs and SDKs using advanced security techniques
  • Identify and classify various types of malware, including spyware, trojans, and rootkits
  • Analyze network traffic and backend systems for potential vulnerabilities and data breaches
  • Document findings and present reports to technical stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop detection signatures and improve threat detection pipelines

Required Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of programming languages: Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, Python
  • Familiarity with platforms & frameworks: VirusTotal, ExploitDB, MITRE ATT&CK
  • Proficiency in security techniques: Static/Dynamic analysis, Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Assessment
  • Experience with Android internals and lifecycle, mobile app store policies, and security best practices
  • Understanding of network traffic analysis and protocol interception, PHA category definitions, and IOCs
  • Familiarity with SOC operations, SIEM configuration, IDS/IPS systems
