Senior Research and Advisory Professional

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to lead strategic research and advisory initiatives that inform and accelerate the growth and market leadership of our digital payments platforms and products.

This role will involve providing expert guidance on policies, product strategy, and implementation for our digital payment platforms. You will analyze market trends and competitor benchmarks to advise on new initiatives, represent us in high-level discussions, committees, and working groups, and develop and implement various research and advisory services across different business segments, markets, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert guidance on policies, product strategy, and implementation for our digital payment platforms.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor benchmarks to advise on new initiatives.
  • Represent us in high-level discussions, committees, and working groups.
  • Develop and implement various research and advisory services across different business segments, markets, etc.
  • Facilitate coordination between internal teams and external partners for seamless integration and rollout.
  • Supervise and review ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with our strategic goals.
  • Drive cross-functional coordination for successful implementation of new systems or upgrades.
  • Contribute to policy creation and updates to align with RBI norms and global best practices.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in the digital payments domain.
  • Promote innovation within our organization by evaluating new technologies and their applicability.
  • Prepare strategic reports, policy notes, and board-level presentations.
  • Communicate insights, risks, and progress clearly to senior leadership and external partners.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 15+ years of work experience in banking, financial or consulting advisory sector, preferably in digital payments.
  • MBA/Postgraduate in Business Management from a reputed institute.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
