Senior Quality Assurance Manager

The Senior Quality Assurance Manager will oversee quality assurance and control processes at a manufacturing facility for low-voltage electrical panels. This role ensures compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and other relevant standards for LV electrical panel manufacturing.
- Process Oversight: Monitor and control quality processes across all stages of production, from raw material inspection to final product testing.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality engineers, inspectors, and technicians to achieve quality objectives.
- Compliance and Standards: Ensure adherence to industry standards (e.g., IEC, UL, BIS) and customer-specific requirements for LV electrical panels.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives for process optimization, defect reduction, and quality improvement using tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and root cause analysis.
- Testing and Validation: Oversee testing procedures, including dielectric tests, temperature rise tests, and short-circuit withstand tests, to ensure product reliability and safety.
- Supplier Quality Management: Collaborate with suppliers to ensure incoming materials meet quality specifications and conduct supplier audits as needed.
- Customer Interface: Act as the primary point of contact for quality-related customer queries, complaints, and audits.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate quality records, prepare reports, and present quality performance metrics to senior management.
- Risk Management: Identify potential quality risks and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to mitigate them.
- Training and Development: Conduct training programs for employees on quality standards, processes, and best practices.
