Job Description

A test automation engineer is required to develop golden model simulations using python, create and validate synthetic test data, and ensure high-quality data delivery in a ci/cd environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience in test automation, particularly with data validation and transformation logic. Proficiency in python, including frameworks such as ydata-synthetic, sdv (synthetic data vault), gretel-synthetics, synthcity, doppelganger is also necessary.

The role focuses on designing and developing automated scripts in python to create a golden model within sql server for test automation. Collaboration with developers and analysts to understand data requirements and ensure proper test coverage is also required.

The test automation engineer will integrate testing into ci/cd pipelines to support continuous delivery and deployment. Defect tracking and identification, documentation of inconsistencies in data, and contribution to test automation strategies and reusable sql test frameworks are additional responsibilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong experience in test automation with data validation and transformation logic.
  • Proficiency in python programming, including frameworks like ydata-synthetic, sdv, gretel-synthetics, synthcity, doppelganger.
  • Experience with ci/cd environments and integrating automated tests into pipelines.
  • Solid understanding of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.
  • Must have: Experience with ge plant applications.
  • Nice to have: Experience with ms sql server.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
