Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer

Job Description:

Insight Global is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with experience in both Manual and Automation testing to join our client. This role will be working on a new development project that will impact the entirety of the organization, requiring collaboration with Product Owners, Technical Project Managers/Agile Coaches, and Developers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a fully fleshed out QA process, procedures, and test approach driving capabilities, including defining, introducing, enforcing, and owning the QA process.
  • Create a centralized repository for Risk Management where data can be shared and utilized by teams across the organization.
  • Start in Manual testing (Functional, regression, UAT, exploratory, Database validation, etc) and transition to Selenium and Java based automation testing, writing acceptance criteria, and holding dev teams to those standards.
  • Work on database querying across multiple query languages such as SQL and BigQuery.
  • Experience with CI/CD and pipeline deployments is beneficial.

Requirements:

  • At least 5+ Years of Testing Experience in both Manual and Automation environments.
  • Experience with Functional, Regression, UAT, Exploratory, Negative, Database Validation.
  • Experience with the following tech stack: Big Query, SQL, Java, and Selenium.
  • Experience writing test approaches and acceptance criteria in Gherkin.
  • Experience implementing Quality Control and assessing its effectiveness after implementation.
