Our organization seeks a seasoned Cybersecurity Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) specialist to lead our security initiatives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing, implementing, and managing GRC programs for customers
  • Conducting security assessments against recognized frameworks like NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, and others
  • Performing gap assessments and providing recommendations for compliance and risk mitigation
  • Driving development and maintenance of risk management processes and tools
Security Documentation and Policy Development

The ideal candidate will have expertise in creating clear, concise, and technically accurate security policies, procedures, and assessments. Key responsibilities include:

  • Drafting, reviewing, and refining security policies, procedures, and technical documentation
  • Developing security documentation such as risk assessment reports, compliance roadmaps, and certification support materials
  • Ensuring all documentation aligns with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
Security Assessments and Collaboration

The successful candidate will have experience conducting in-depth security assessments, including readiness assessments for certifications. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting security assessments, evaluating the effectiveness of existing security controls, and providing actionable recommendations for improvement
  • Facilitating security control mapping exercises between frameworks
Required Skills and Qualifications

The following skills and qualifications are required for this role:

  • 10-12 years of experience in cybersecurity GRC roles, including hands-on exposure to frameworks like ISO 27001, NIST CSF, SOC 2, and others
  • Documentation expertise: proven ability to create clear, concise, and technically accurate security policies, procedures, and assessments
  • Assessment skills: experience conducting security assessments, gap analysis, and control mapping exercises across multiple frameworks

Preferred certifications include ISO 27001 Lead Auditor/Implementer, CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or other relevant certifications. Preferred experience includes working with global customers, understanding region-specific regulations, and familiarity with cloud security governance frameworks and third-party risk management.

Soft Skills and Abilities

The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management and collaboration abilities, analytical mindset, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and lead GRC initiatives in complex environments is also essential.
