Java Production Support Role

This position plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing production systems.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize technical expertise to resolve critical customer escalations.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering team to develop solutions for customer reported problems.
  • Participate in daily meetings to update the development team on ongoing escalations.
  • Lead high-impact customer escalations with clear expectations and timelines.
  • Design tools and techniques to aid root cause analysis using available data insights.
  • Reduce issue resolution time by addressing issues after analysis.
  • Provide timely updates to reporting teams to enhance overall customer satisfaction.
  • Partner with Product management to implement backlog requirements that add value to the product.

Required Expertise:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of experience in technical support type roles, preferably in escalation teams.
  • Experience working as an L3 escalation engineer handling complex customer issues.
  • Proficiency in Java technologies.
  • Strong understanding and working experience of MySQL/MariaDB/RDBMS and database concepts.
  • Familiarity with Microservice architecture environments on AWS.
  • Expertise in troubleshooting and root cause analysis for customer/support/field reported issues.
  • Strong passion, curiosity, integrity, and attention to detail; a team player comfortable in collaborative environments.
