The role of IT Infrastructure Support Specialist involves providing comprehensive technical support for diverse IT systems, networks, and infrastructure.
Primary Responsibilities:- Technical Assistance: Provide troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair services for hardware, software, and network systems.
- Infrastructure Management: Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure (servers, storage, networks).
- Incident Resolution: Handle user requests and incidents via ticketing system.
- User Account Administration: Administer user accounts, email systems, and security groups in Active Directory/Office 365.
- Network Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot network connectivity and system access issues.
- Project Support: Assist in IT projects (cloud migration, system upgrades, security enhancements).
- Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with vendors and external providers for IT services and escalations.
- 1–3 years of IT support/infrastructure experience.
- Knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, virtualization, and cloud platforms.
- Strong understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP).
- Good analytical, troubleshooting, and customer service skills.
