Backend Developer

We are a top travel company in India that offers a range of services, including flights, hotels, and cruises, specializing in corporate travel. Our focus is on innovation, extensive connectivity, and deep-seated trust, serving a vast network of partners and customers in the travel industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain server-side architecture and backend logic for web/mobile applications. They will develop RESTful APIs and services to support multiple products and services. In collaboration with frontend engineers, they will ensure seamless integration between the backend and frontend. Additionally, they will write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry best practices. This includes optimizing backend performance for high availability and scalability, working with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to ensure data integrity, security, and performance, and debugging and troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and rapid resolution.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Our team member should have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. They should have 4-10 years of experience in backend development, preferably in a startup or fast-paced environment. A strong proficiency in one or more backend programming languages such as Java, Go, or Ruby is required. They should also have hands-on experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture. A solid understanding of databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or similar is necessary. Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is also a plus. Experience with version control systems like Git is essential. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment tools is desirable. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with attention to detail are expected. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a collaborative environment are also required.
