Job Title: Accounting Professional
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled accounting professional to handle various accounting functions for US clients. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably US accounting, with excellent technical knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, QBO, Xero, SAGE, NetSuite, Yardi, MS Teams, and Zoom.
Responsibilities:
- Perform various accounting tasks including posting and reconciling Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, general Journal entries etc.
- Prepare workpapers, accounting schedules and extract and prepare various management reports per clients' needs.
- Lead on projects like accounting clean-up, books rebuild, software migration, account adjustments as required, providing information to other departments as necessary.
- Review work of staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Develop new technological skills required to perform accounting and financial reporting.
- Work allocation as per the staff availability & competency.
- Assist staff to up-skill themselves through proper guidance.
- Adhere to deadlines of tasks assigned and keep the reviewer updated on progress.
- Self-review work for accuracy and completeness to ensure quality product before submitting to reviewer/manager.
- Prepare SOP for task assigned and update the same on regular intervals.
- Comply with internal policies, procedures, and controls.
- Collaborate with both India-based and US-based staff on ongoing basis to perform transactional activities, technical accounting activities & reporting activities.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in accounting, preferably US accounting.
- Excellent technical knowledge of software applications such as Excel, Word, QBO, Xero, SAGE, NetSuite, Yardi, MS Teams, and Zoom.
- Ability to perform various accounting functions including posting and reconciling Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, general Journal entries etc.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
