Job Overview:

BPO US Accounting Professional

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced US accounting professional to lead our team in delivering exceptional financial services.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of US GAAP and have experience in performing various accounting functions, including posting and reconciling Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, general Journal entries etc.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Performing multiple accounting tasks on US clients' files including Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable, Bank and Credit Card transactions, Payroll, and General Journal Entries.
  2. Preparing detailed workpapers, accounting schedules, and management reports as per clients' requirements.
  3. Leading projects such as Accounting Clean-up, Books Rebuild, Software Migration, Account Adjustments, and furnishing information to other departments as necessary.
  4. Reviewing staff work and providing constructive feedback for growth and improvement.
  5. Staying up-to-date with new software and developing technological skills required for accounting and financial reporting.
  6. Allocating tasks according to staff availability and competency.
  7. Assisting staff in skill development through proper guidance and mentorship.
  8. Meeting task deadlines and keeping reviewers updated on progress.
  9. Conducting self-review of work for accuracy and completeness to ensure high-quality output before submission.
  10. Developing SOPs for assigned tasks and updating them regularly.
  11. Complying with internal policies, procedures, and controls.
  12. Collaborating with both India-based and US-based staff to perform transactional activities, technical accounting activities, and reporting activities.
