Computer Network Architect

Network engineers are the backbone of modern communication systems, tasked with designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer networks.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in networking protocols and technologies, with experience in network design, implementation, and maintenance. They will also possess excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, as well as relevant certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and implement scalable and secure computer networks
  2. Troubleshoot and optimize network performance to ensure seamless data transmission
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues

Requirements:

  • 6-10 years of experience in network engineering
  • Strong knowledge of VLANs, VXLANs, VTP, VSS, Cisco Catalyst platform, Nexus, HP, and Juniper
  • Familiarity with routing protocols, configuration, and troubleshooting traditional WAN and SDWAN
  • Knowledge of firewalls, including Virtual firewalls, Cisco ASA, Checkpoint, Palo Alto, and FortiGate NG
  • Working knowledge of network security protocols, LAN, WAN, wireless networks, DHCP, DNS, Proxy, VPN, Firewalls, TCP/IP, Intranets, Extranets, VoIP, Virtualization, High Availability, Backups/Disaster recovery, Routers, and Device drivers
  • Certifications desirable – CCNP, PCNSE, Check Point , FortiGate certified
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
