Commercial Underwriting Position

Required skills and qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in commercial underwriting or a related field.
  • Any graduate degree.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with risk management principles and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluation of commercial proposals received for underwriting.
  • Risk assessment and rating of proposals based on established criteria.
  • Implementation of all activities related to underwriting, including policy issuance and renewal.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of underwriting tasks.
  • Continuing education and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
