About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Risk Management Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities within the Enterprise Risk Management function, ensuring seamless execution and optimal results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement an Enterprise Risk Management framework that spans across the organization, promoting a culture of risk-aware decision-making.
  • Design and implement a robust internal control system to mitigate potential risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Identify, evaluate, and document control weaknesses and deficiencies; develop actionable recommendations for risk mitigation and improvement.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date Risk Registers (RCSA) to track and monitor risks across the organization.
  • Conduct regular reviews of business processes, identifying control gaps and deficiencies; develop targeted recommendations for risk mitigation and process improvement.
  • Ensure the Enterprise Risk Policy remains current and effective in addressing changing regulatory and strategic scenarios.
  • Support Principal Risk Owners in identifying key risks and mitigating controls within their business units, developing action plans to address any gaps.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting critical risks and areas for improvement.
  • Establish an integrated risk reporting framework to facilitate focused attention on high-priority risks.

Educational Qualifications:

  • Possess a graduate degree in finance, management, or risk management from a reputable institution; FRM, CFA, CBCP, or similar certifications are highly desirable.

Experience:

  • A minimum of 4-8 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating expertise and growth in risk management.

Essential Skills:

  • Demonstrate in-depth knowledge of risk management principles, including identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.

Functional Competencies:

  • Principles of risk management, including identification, assessment, and mitigation strategies.
  • Strong understanding of control frameworks and the ability to design and evaluate effectiveness.
  • Familiarity with risk and governance standards such as COSO framework and Basel Corporate Governance Principles.
