We are seeking a seasoned Market Risk professional to join our team as a key member of the Enterprise Risk Management practice. This onsite opportunity is designed for experienced candidates who can manage specialized risk management functions within a bank.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish policies and guidelines for monitoring treasury, investment, ALM, and liquidity risk.
  • Value treasury portfolios – Forex, Fixed Income, Derivatives, Equity, and others.
  • Provide independent mid-office monitoring support on NOP, Fixed income, FIG, Derivatives, limit monitoring, etc.
  • Monitor hedge effectiveness on a periodic basis.
  • Implement and calculate capital charge and counterparty risk charge.
  • Perform technical analysis of Equities, Bonds, and Money market funds.
  • Monitor limits related to treasury activities according to internal and regulatory policies.
  • Maintain MTM reconciliation with counterparty banks for derivatives deals undertaken and make/respond margin calls in terms of CSA arrangements.
  • Prepare daily and periodical reports on regulatory and internal matters for accurate submission to the board.
  • Enhance methodologies for counterpart credit risk measures like PFE, CVA, etc.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Middle East banks.
  • Strong understanding of market risk, liquidity risk, and ALM principles.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex risk concepts effectively.
  • Familiarity with risk management systems and stress testing.
  • PREFERRED: ICAAP, RAROC, FTP methodologies, and RAS experience.
