Academic Counselor
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Academic Counselor to join our team. As an Academic Counselor, you will play a vital role in providing guidance and support to students, helping them navigate their academic journey. Your primary responsibility will be to counsel students on course offerings, eligibility, scholarships, and financial aid, ensuring that they make informed decisions about their educational path.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Counseling and Guidance: Provide one-on-one counseling to students, addressing their queries and concerns regarding courses, admissions, and other related matters. 2. Student Engagement: Build and maintain positive relationships with prospective and existing students, ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction. 3. Admission Guidance: Guide students on course offerings, eligibility, scholarships, and financial aid, assisting them in making informed decisions about their educational path. 4. Documentation: Help students complete application forms and other documentation accurately and promptly. 5. Follow-Up: Conduct regular follow-ups to ensure students progress through the admission process smoothly. 6. Data Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and activities in the CRM system. 7. Reporting: Provide regular reports on activities, conversion rates, and challenges to the management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Prior experience in technical program sales or software selling is a strong plus - Strong presentation and negotiation skills, experience in academic sales - Graduate (Any discipline)
