Job Title: Marine Operations Associate

Job Summary:

The Marine Operations Associate plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our fleet, focusing on compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position involves coordinating with various departments, managing documentation, liaising with clients, and driving operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily operations of the fleet, monitoring vessel performance, and coordinating with masters to ensure timely completion of voyages.

2. Manage bunker consumption tracking, collect cargo documents from vessels at load/discharge ports, and evaluate vessel performance in charterers' formats.

3. Prepare freight invoices, demurrage claims, and follow up with charterers for timely payment.

4. Send deck and engine logs after each voyage to charterers within stipulated time frames.

5. Assist in raising timely charter hire, freight, bunker reimbursement, and demurrage invoices.

6. Collaborate with the vessel Operation Superintendent for day-to-day work and smooth vessel operations.

7. Select, appoint, and approve agents' PDA and FDA.
