Job Summary

We are seeking a diligent and meticulous procurement professional to join our team. As a Marine Technical Purchaser, you will be responsible for procuring spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels worldwide.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong negotiation and vendor management skills to take on new challenges in the marine industry.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of vessel maintenance and dry-docking requirements, as well as experience in international logistics and customs clearance for marine spares.

In this role, you will work closely with vessel superintendents and technical teams to understand and fulfill purchasing requirements.

You will also be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure reliable support.

The successful candidate will be a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who is committed to delivering results in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Source and procure spare parts, consumables, and technical equipment for vessels.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and high-quality products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and service providers.
  • Process purchase requisitions from vessels and fleet management teams efficiently.
  • Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to arrange timely delivery of goods to vessels at ports worldwide.
