About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Equipment Service Specialist to manage medical device turnaround processes. The ideal candidate will have experience with device disinfection, electronics checks, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities

Device Turnaround & Maintenance

  • Perform routine disinfection of medical devices in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of devices to identify functional issues.
  • Replace components and consumable parts as needed to ensure optimal device performance.
  • Maintain accurate calibration logs to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Troubleshooting & Basic Repairs

  • Diagnose and repair electronic control unit issues and perform minor repairs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for advanced repairs or escalations.
  • Update software and firmware as required to ensure device functionality.

Device Deployment Support

  • Coordinate device pickups and installations as needed.
  • Deploy new devices and rented equipment according to customer requirements.
  • Provide training to staff and caregivers on proper device usage.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate service logs, device usage hours, complaints, and interventions.
  • Prepare regular reports for operations and product teams.

Requirements & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in servicing medical equipment.
  • Hands-on skills in basic electronics troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.
  • Familiarity with hospital infection control practices is beneficial.

  • Effective communication skills for coordination.
  • Ability to maintain accurate service documentation.
  • Willingness to travel locally for device pickups/deployments.
