Job Title: Strategic Portfolio Manager

The Senior Manager will be responsible for overseeing and strategizing on end-to-end credit underwriting and monitoring of a portfolio of personal loans through digital channels.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Credit Underwriting Strategies
  • Develop solutions for credit underwriting based on different product constructs
  • Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to analyze underwriting models prepared by them and validate their performance on the current portfolio
Portfolio Performance Monitoring
  • Analyze portfolios and recommend policy changes to the Policy Head based on analysis outcomes
  • Conduct regular credit reviews of existing portfolios and perform various analyses to identify high-risk segments
New Partner Integrations
  • Understand the products offered by new channel partners and the segments catered to
  • Create policies based on products, available information, and prevailing models
Relationship Management
  • Manage relationships with Partners, credit reporting agencies, and assist in all credit operations
Requirements

Postgraduate in Finance/Statistics/Management from reputable institutions
B Tech with MBA preferred

Experience

Minimum 7 years with 3–4 years in risk management and policy creation
Fair understanding of risk performance
Excellent communication skills
Superior stakeholder management skills—Work closely and align with each of the internal functions including Business Development, Credit and Policy, Data Science, Legal, Technology, Operations, Collections, Customer Success teams, and external stakeholders
