Leadership Position: Associate Director

We are seeking an accomplished finance professional to oversee our Financial Reporting and Treasury charter as Associate Director. This role is pivotal in driving financial reporting, technical accounting compliance, and consistency across multiple entities.

About the Role

This position involves timely and accurate financial reporting, technical accounting compliance, and ensuring consistency across multiple reporting entities. The ideal candidate will possess strong exposure to IND-AS, consolidation, and complex technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, ESOP accounting, and mergers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Owning financial reporting across the group to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant statutory and management reporting under Indian GAAP and IND-AS.
  • Leading quarterly and annual financial statement preparation, working closely with internal and external auditors.
  • Serving as the technical accounting subject matter expert for the organization; assessing and implementing new accounting standards and ensuring appropriate disclosures.
  • Driving IPO-aligned reporting practices including audit readiness, restatements, consolidated entity reporting, and regulatory filings.
  • Collaborating with FP&A, business finance, and investor relations teams to ensure alignment between internal and external reporting frameworks.
  • Developing and scaling internal SOPs, reporting templates, and close calendar for group-wide implementation.
  • Liaising with external advisors, valuation experts, and consultants to ensure accounting treatment aligns with industry benchmarks.

Requirements:

  • Chartered Accountant (CA) with 8–12 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Strong exposure to IND-AS, consolidation, and complex technical accounting areas such as revenue recognition, ESOP accounting, and mergers.
  • Prior experience in a pre-IPO or listed company is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management with auditors and senior leadership.
