Strategic Finance Leadership Role

This is a diverse position requiring a highly commercial and analytical individual who is also prepared to take on various responsibilities whilst navigating the organization's financial landscape.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the finance function, planning, and execution of audit of internal financial control over financial reporting and preparing an internal audit report.
  • Responsible for accounting-related issues, monitor financial details to ensure legal requirements are met.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting, reporting to management, reviewing company financial reports and identifying opportunities to reduce costs and manage budget.
  • Controlling income, cash flow, and expenditure, collecting, interpreting, and reviewing financial information.
  • Producing financial reports related to budgets, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc.
  • Developing strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Preparing and managing the process of procurement, stock/inventory, maintaining records of debtors and creditors.
  • Payroll management, providing ROC compliances, annual filing, incorporation of the company, etc.
  • Daily sales reporting, analyzing financial data, and creating/maintaining financial models for decision support.
  • Reporting on financial performance and preparing for regular leadership reviews, analyzing past results, performing variance analysis, identifying trends, and making recommendations for improvements.
  • Representing finance within the commercial team to ensure business planning, accounting, and control are integrated into the decision-making process.
  • Participating in finance and multi-function project teams, working closely with the CFO and Financial Controller to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Identifying and driving process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards.
