US Accounting Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished US accounting specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of US accounting practices, tax laws, and reporting requirements.

The selected individual will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and analyzing financial statements in accordance with US GAAP. Additionally, they will handle US federal and state tax returns, ensuring accurate and timely filings.

The successful candidate will also manage and perform financial audits, internal controls reviews, and regulatory compliance assessments. They will consult with clients regarding tax planning, financial strategy, and regulatory compliance.

We require a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with USA certification, minimum 3-5 years of experience working directly with US accounting and taxation. Proficiency in accounting software and taxation tools is essential.

The key skills we are looking for include exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also required, as well as excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, able to work independently and collaboratively in a remote/hybrid environment. Flexible working hours aligned to overlap significantly with US time zones are available.
