You will join us as a contractor in the Client Service Operations team.

This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless project execution and management. By supporting Account Managers and effectively communicating with clients, you will be essential to our success.

We are looking for a Contractor who can bridge the gap between our clients and internal teams, ensuring clear communication and efficient project management.

  • Support Account Managers in managing ongoing projects.
  • Handle client queries in Japanese, translating and updating internal teams for seamless communication.
  • Build strong client relationships by understanding their needs and providing tailored service options.
  • Prepare service quotations and manage timely invoice submissions according to contracts.
  • Acknowledge and convey customer expectations to the team, mitigating risks and miscommunications.
  • Identify and implement improvements in services, processes, and systems.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • N1/N2 level Japanese certification, reflecting advanced language proficiency.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales or client services; experience in Life Sciences is beneficial.
  • Advanced skills in MS Office, especially in Word and Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities, ensuring clear and efficient client interactions.
  • Proven adaptability to changing business needs, maintaining effectiveness in dynamic environments.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with Account Managers to ensure smooth project execution and timely delivery.
  2. Provide expert support in Japanese, facilitating seamless communication between clients and internal teams.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
  4. Prepare and submit high-quality service quotations and invoices in accordance with contracts.
  5. Act as a liaison between clients and the team, ensuring accurate communication and minimizing misunderstandings.
  6. Continuously identify opportunities for improvement in services, processes, and systems.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise in Japanese language, equivalent to N1/N2 level certification.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a client-facing role, preferably in sales or client services, with a background in Life Sciences being an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Word and Excel.
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality client interactions.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing business needs while maintaining effectiveness.
