Our company is seeking a dedicated professional to fill the role of Assistant Manager.

About the Role

This position involves leading medium and complex engagements as the lead, developing reasonable time budgets and coordinating audit requests to meet time constraints and client deadlines. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience in US GAAP general accounting and financial statement review.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, assess risks, test, and complete engagements.
  • Oversee medium and complex engagements as the lead.
  • Develop time management strategies and coordinate audit tasks efficiently.
  • Mentor junior staff on technical issues.
  • Communicate with Senior Managers/Directors on work status and client matters.
  • Ensure adherence to firm/Audit department policies.
  • Foster strong client relationships by focusing on quality and service excellence.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and review of engagements.
  • Design audit approaches and supervise teams.
  • Attend mandatory training sessions to stay updated on industry trends.
  • Prepare and review final reports.
Requirements for Success
  • Candidates must be Inter-CA/ACCA/CPA/CA professionals with 5-7 years of relevant experience.
  • A team player with a proactive approach and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP, and International standards of Auditing (ISA).
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments and ambiguity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of business and technical issues, including industry trends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels and establish strong relationships.
