Job Title: Plant Operations Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to oversee the day-to-day operations of our plant facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing store inventory, supervising staff, and ensuring the overall efficiency of plant operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, tracking stock levels, and optimizing storage capacity.
  • Staff Supervision: Oversees two teams of five members each, providing guidance, training, and coaching to ensure productivity and adherence to SOPs.
  • Production Monitoring: Achieves and monitors monthly production targets, maintains relevant log sheets, and ensures zero leakage or wastage of resources.
  • Facility Maintenance: Ensures proper upkeep of office space, compound areas, and general infrastructure, including water, mother liquor, gas, and electricity management.
  • Security and Access Control: Coordinates with security personnel for movement of people and materials in and out of the premises.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Word, Excel, and email communication, with working knowledge of ISO 9000 documentation and compliance.
  • Soft Skills: Strong coordination and organizational skills, basic understanding of plant utilities and operations, and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Evaluation Criteria
  • Effectiveness in Stock Reduction and Inventory Control: Measured by accuracy of inventory records, timely ordering, and optimal storage utilization.
  • Efficiency in Production Planning and Execution: Assessed by achievement of monthly production targets, maintenance of log sheets, and minimal resource wastage.
  • Coordination and Compliance in Security and Materials Movement: Evaluated by smooth coordination with security personnel, adherence to access control protocols, and secure movement of people and materials.
  • Overall Upkeep and Management of Plant and Facility Operations: Judged by cleanliness, organization, and efficient use of resources across the plant premises.
