Senior IT Project Lead Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Project Lead to join our team at Medtronic. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and directing project teams engaged in global initiatives across functional and regional organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage all facets of projects from intake through implementation and closure.
  • Accountable for the successful implementation of project outcomes through effective organization and leadership, business case and benefits management, stakeholder management, risk management, issue resolution, planning and control, change management, and quality management.
  • Ensure projects adhere to all Corporate and IT policies and standards.
  • Manage project constraints: scope, cost, and schedule.
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to leadership governance bodies.
  • Stay up-to-date on advances and best practices in project management methodologies.
  • Work with portfolio managers on OKRs and KPI reporting.
  • Create quarterly portfolio reporting for QBRs.
  • Coordinate updates on OSHPI SharePoint sites.
  • Schedule meetings to develop resource capability management processes.

Must-Have Requirements:

  • Mid-level knowledge of specialty area and working knowledge of several other areas, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience.
  • Deep knowledge of project management.

Salary:$123,456 per annum, based on qualifications and experience.
