Job Title: Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Project Manager to lead our Solar EPC business unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Oversee the Solar EPC business unit, aligning with company goals and strategic direction.
    • Develop annual operational plans, budgets, and resource allocation for all EPC projects.
  • Tendering & Estimation:
    • Review and approve preparation of EPC tenders and bids.
    • Evaluate technical and commercial feasibility before participating in tenders.
  • Project Execution & Delivery:
    • Oversee the execution of multiple EPC projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.
    • Coordinate with design, procurement, construction, and quality teams for smooth project execution.
  • Resource & Vendor Management:
    • Approve manpower deployment plans for all sites.
    • Monitor vendor performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Quality, Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental regulations.
    • Conduct regular site visits, quality audits, and risk assessments.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Mentor and guide Segment Managers and Project Managers to ensure operational excellence.
    • Provide guidance, performance monitoring, and succession planning for the EPC leadership team.
  • Reporting & Documentation:
    • Ensure timely project progress reporting, cost tracking, and documentation for management review.
    • Present regular operational performance updates to top management.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to lead leaders.
  • Proven expertise in large-scale EPC project execution.
  • Excellent coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  • In-depth understanding of solar engineering, procurement, and construction processes.
  • Knowledge of compliance, safety, and quality control practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (MBA preferred).
  • 12–18 years of solar EPC experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role.
  • Track record of successfully delivering multiple large-scale EPC projects.

Performance Indicators (KPIs):

  • On-time and within-budget project delivery.
  • Zero major safety or quality non-compliances.
  • Efficient utilization of manpower and resources.
  • Segment Manager & Project Manager performance metrics achieved.
