Expert Solar EPC Operations Lead

The Senior Project Manager is responsible for leading the solar EPC business unit, overseeing all activities from tendering to project completion. This role focuses entirely on EPC operations — ensuring projects are executed within time, budget, and quality parameters.
Key responsibilities include strategic leadership, operational planning, budgeting, and resource allocation. The role also involves overseeing tender preparation, reviewing and submitting tenders, and evaluating technical and commercial feasibility before participating in tenders.
Project execution and delivery are critical aspects of this role, requiring effective coordination with design, procurement, construction, and quality teams. Additionally, the Senior Project Manager will oversee vendor evaluation, selection, and ongoing performance monitoring, as well as ensure compliance with statutory, safety, and environmental standards.
This leadership role requires a strong team player who can lead and mentor Segment Managers and Project Managers to ensure operational excellence. Regular project progress reporting, cost tracking, and documentation are essential for management review. Performance indicators (KPIs) include on-time and within-budget project delivery, zero major safety or quality non-compliances, efficient utilization of manpower and resources, and Segment Manager & Project Manager performance metrics achieved.
Qualifications & ExperienceA Bachelor's degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Civil Engineering (MBA preferred) is required. 12–18 years of solar EPC experience, with at least 5 years in a senior operational leadership role, is necessary. A track record of successfully delivering multiple large-scale EPC projects is highly valued.
