Geographic Information System Developer Job

We are seeking a highly motivated Geographic Information System (GIS) developer with 3–5 years of experience as a geospatial specialist. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong skills in ArcGIS, Python, and JavaScript to deploy scalable solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain connectors to connect with customer interfaces.
  • Analyze, review, and modify programming systems, including encoding, testing, and debugging.
  • Ensure software can be completely integrated into the customer's system.
  • Maintain technical documentation.
Required Skills and Experience:
  • ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, Enterprise Geodatabase, Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Online.
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Python and understanding how to build high-performance UI applications capable of visualizing large amounts of data.
  • Experience with front-end technologies like React, HTML, JavaScript, CSS languages and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of Azure Cloud is preferable.
  • Proven experience developing dynamic front-end web applications.
  • Expertise in clean coding practices that reduce complexity.
  • Familiarity with REST API and other web services for integrating.
  • Experience with at least one RDBMS like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc., and strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration.
  • Proficiency in Git and Azure Containers.
  • Degree in Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, or related field.
