Job Description:

We are seeking an expert in hydraulic system design to join our team. The selected candidate will be responsible for the creation of detailed designs and analysis reports for irrigation infrastructure projects.

The consultant will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop efficient water distribution systems, ensuring compliance with standard engineering codes and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop hydraulic structures such as dams, barrages, weirs, spillways, and intake systems using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools.
  • Prepare hydraulic modeling, flow calculations, and hydraulic grade line diagrams for irrigation and water management projects.
  • Develop detailed drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications for micro-irrigation systems, pipe networks, and related structures.
  • Coordinate with survey, GIS, and geotechnical teams for integrated designs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Water gem, or similar hydraulic modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic principles, irrigation techniques, flow analysis, and pipe hydraulics.
  • Familiarity with WRD, CWC, Govt Guidelines, and state irrigation department practices.
  • Excellent technical documentation, report writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Education:

Bachelor's or master's degree in civil engineering, with specialization in Hydraulics or Water Resources Engineering.
