Plumbing and Fire Fighting Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled engineer to join our organization as a plumbing and fire fighting design specialist.

The ideal candidate will have 10-25 years of experience in designing plumbing and fire fighting systems, with a strong understanding of architectural layouts and client specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop concept design, schematic design, design development, and construction design for plumbing and fire fighting systems.
  • Prepare tender drawings for plumbing and firefighting systems, including waste, soil, rain water, sprinkler, hose reel, and fire extinguisher systems.
  • Provide detailed notes and prepare shop drawings for submission and resubmission.
  • Select and prepare materials for submission and contact suppliers for quotations and technical documents.
  • Take off bill of quantities (BOQ) for firefighting and plumbing systems and prepare information regarding design, structure specification, material, equipment, estimated cost, and construction time.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Direct activities of workers engaged in preparing drawing and specification documents, plan layout of projects, and prepare scale drawings.
  • Prepare technical reports, installation plans, project schedules, progress reports, daily reports, weekly reports, monthly reports, and material lists.
  • Experience - 10-25 Years

  • Strong understanding of plumbing and fire fighting system design principles.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
