Job Title:

Contract Compliance Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
  • Document Management & Legal Compliance:
    • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.
    • Conduct legal research and prepare briefs and reports.
    • Mitigate contractual risks and optimize terms to protect the organization's interests.
  • Governance & Risk Management:
    • Monitor and ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and industry standards.
    • Stay updated on legal developments and provide guidance to the organization.
    • Respond to regulatory inquiries and audits.
    • Collaborate with departments to ensure company-wide compliance.
    • Manage statutory registers and records.
    • Organize board and committee meetings and filings with regulatory authorities.
  • Risk Mitigation & Process Improvement:
    • Identify potential legal and regulatory risks and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Communication & Team Collaboration:
    • Execute legal and compliance tasks efficiently and in line with best practices.
    • Draft legal documents and maintain clear communication within the legal team and other departments.
    • Bridge communication between the legal team and other departments.
    • Document meetings related to legal and compliance issues.
  • General Support & Development:
    • Provide general legal support to the legal and compliance team.
    • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
    Qualifications:
    • 2+ years of experience for Senior Associate and 1+ years of in-house experience for Legal Associate
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
