Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced data architect to lead our cloud-based data strategy.

  • This role involves designing and implementing end-to-end data architecture leveraging Snowflake and Matillion for data ingestion, transformation, and storage.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Design and implement scalable data architectures for large-scale cloud platforms.
  2. Develop and maintain data modeling standards, data flows, and architecture best practices.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and create robust data pipelines.
  4. Ensure data security, access controls, and compliance with industry regulations.
  5. Optimize Snowflake performance through clustering, caching, query tuning, and cost management.
  6. Oversee data integration from APIs, databases, flat files, and third-party platforms.
  7. Establish data quality and metadata management practices.
Qualification & Certification

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in data engineering/architecture.
  • Strong expertise with Snowflake (multi-cluster warehouses, role-based access, data sharing).
  • Experience with pipeline development using Matillion ETL.
  • Strong data modeling & scalable cloud data platforms experience.
  • Proficiency in SQL and scripting (Python or Bash).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS/Azure.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with orchestration tools like Airflow.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence/reporting tools.
  • Familiarity with data governance/data catalog tools.
  • Background in machine learning platforms or real-time pipelines.

  • Excellent communication & analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in fast-paced environments.
  • Fluent in English (written & spoken).
