Job Title: Private Client Lawyer – Head of Wills

This is a strategic leadership position within an ambitious and growing firm. You will have the opportunity to shape the future of estate planning services and work alongside experienced professionals in tax, accountancy, and financial planning.

We are seeking an experienced Private Client Lawyer to lead our in-house wills and trusts planning function. As a senior role, you will work closely with our financial advisers and tax specialists to design and implement effective estate planning solutions for high-net-worth clients.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in wills, trusts, and estate planning
  • Full TEP Practitioner qualification
  • Proven ability to handle complex HNW/UHNW client cases
  • Strong understanding of IHT, CGT, and trust taxation issues

You will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of our in-house legal wills and trusts offering
  • Drafting complex wills, discretionary and lifetime trusts, deeds of variation, and powers of attorney
  • Providing technical guidance and support to financial advisers and clients
  • Overseeing compliance and risk management for legal outputs
  • Building and managing a small, high-performing team as the service expands
  • Maintaining the highest standards of client care and confidentiality
