Job Title:

Our organization is seeking a visionary leader to spearhead the development and implementation of comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and execute a HSE vision aligned with our organization's overall business objectives.
  2. Maintain regulatory compliance by ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, standards, and permits.
  3. Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement control measures.
  4. Analyze incidents to determine root causes, implement corrective actions, and prevent recurrence.
  5. Establish emergency response plans and conduct regular drills to ensure preparedness for emergencies.
  6. Deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels to enhance their knowledge and skills in performing jobs safely.
  7. Track and report on key HSE performance indicators, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  8. Foster a culture of continuous improvement in HSE performance through initiatives like audits, inspections, and benchmarking.

Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's degree in occupational safety and health or a related field.
  2. Minimum 5+ years of experience in HSE management, preferably in the metal and mining industry.
  3. Approved Safety Officer as per Odisha Factory Act.
  4. Strong knowledge of Factory Act, environmental guidelines, HSE regulations, and best practices.
  5. Experience in greenfield/brownfield expansion projects.
  6. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
