About a dynamic organization:

Our team is working on India's first solid state battery production. We have the country's first solid state Lithium metal battery cell and have formed a solid state battery centre of excellence in Bangalore to experiment with various chemistries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight
    • Manage daily operations of the solid-state battery cell production line, optimizing efficiency and yield.
    • Monitor and troubleshoot production issues related to electrode coating, cell assembly, and sealing processes.
    • Implement process improvements to enhance cell performance, lifespan, and overall production quality.
    • Continuously analyze data from production lines to identify areas for optimization and cost reduction.
  • Quality Control
    • Establish and enforce strict quality control measures throughout the production process, including in-line inspections and final product testing.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and specifications for solid-state batteries.
    • Analyze quality data to identify and address potential issues before they impact product performance.
  • Team Leadership
    • Lead and motivate a team of production technicians, operators, and engineers responsible for cell assembly.
    • Provide training and development opportunities to staff on new technologies and procedures related to solid-state battery production.
    • Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
  • Technical Expertise
    • Deep understanding of solid-state battery technology, including principles of solid electrolytes, electrode materials, and cell assembly processes.
    • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques such as roll-to-roll processing, laser cutting, and precision handling equipment.
    • Knowledge of electrochemical testing methods to evaluate cell performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Project Management
    • Collaborate with R&D teams to implement new cell designs and technology advancements into production lines.
    • Manage project timelines and budgets related to production scale-up and process optimization.
    • Coordinate with other departments, including materials procurement, quality assurance, and maintenance, to ensure smooth production flow.
